Among the shadows
my soul is crushed…
The light is fading
above your eyes,
so absent,
and I fall…
My own life steps behind me…
Falling into the arms of loss,
the cold grips my throat,
and absorbed in my failure,
the shame drags me,
I was fooled by love…
All is turning into black,
veins buried in hatred…
I knelt at your feet,
begged for love,
and all I felt was the disgrace.
